This ambitious undertaking, supported by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and orchestrated in collaboration with the Paphos Development Company “Afroditi,” seeks to cultivate a truly enchanting Yuletide atmosphere, offering a vibrant new destination for festive celebrations throughout the region.
The transformation of the village's community park is nothing short of remarkable. Gone are the usual pastoral scenes, replaced by a whimsical wonderland adorned with dazzling decorations, resonant festive music, and a captivating interplay of lights. At the heart of this transformation are numerous wooden chalets, meticulously arranged to create an immersive experience for visitors. The festival is scheduled to enchant visitors through the early days of January, with specific operating hours designed to accommodate a wide range of schedules. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the village will be open from 11:00 to 19:00. Special extended hours are in place for Fridays, December 12 and 19, from 10:00 to 19:00, while a daily schedule of 11:00 to 19:00 will run from December 22, 2025, to January 6, 2026. Notably, Christmas Day and New Year's Day will see the village open its gates from 15:00 to 23:00, allowing for extended festive revelry. The overarching objective, as articulated by the organisers, is to "create a magical Christmas atmosphere for visitors of all ages."
