Cyprus Ensures 24/7 Pharmaceutical Access with Published Overnight Pharmacy Roster

**NICOSIA, CYPRUS** – Residents across Cyprus will have uninterrupted access to essential pharmaceutical services following the publication of an updated list of pharmacies designated to operate during overnight hours. The comprehensive roster, released on Monday, March 23rd, aims to guarantee that individuals requiring medication outside of conventional business times can receive prompt and reliable assistance. This initiative underscores the commitment to public health and the provision of critical healthcare support, particularly during periods of heightened demand or unforeseen circumstances.

The designated pharmacies are strategically located to serve a broad geographical area, encompassing the capital city of Nicosia and its immediate environs, including Agios Dometios and Lakatamia, as well as Strovolos and Latsia. Furthermore, the southern coastal city of Limassol and its surrounding districts, such as Zakaki and the well-known "Naafi" district, are also included in the rota. This widespread distribution ensures that a significant portion of the island's population can benefit from this vital service, mitigating potential delays in accessing necessary treatments and alleviating concerns for those with urgent pharmaceutical needs.

Among the listed establishments is the pharmacy operated by Christodoulou Kyproulla, situated at Karpenisiou 25A in Nicosia, conveniently located perpendicular to the prominent Makarios and Kennedy Avenues. For those in Agios Dometios, Panagi Maria's pharmacy at Prince Charles 9, on the Nicosia Polyclinic road, offers accessibility, positioned adjacent to "ACS" and opposite "Cryos International." In Lakatamia, Kanaris – Leonidou Maria’s establishment at Archbishop Makarios III Avenue 177, approximately 100 meters before the "KKOLIAS" supermarket when travelling from Nicosia towards Deftera, provides another crucial point of service.

Nicosia residents also have the option of Kyriakoudis Michalis's pharmacy at Pindarou 8, found on the road leading to the DISY offices and next to the "Ksadelfos" café-restaurant. In Strovolos, Aristodimou Konstantina's pharmacy, located at Stavrou Avenue 71E and directly opposite the "Oktagono" kiosk, is available. Latsia is served by Kagias Katerina's pharmacy at Dimitris Stavrou 3AB, which is positioned next to the Latsia Health Centre on the former "Laiki Sporting Club" road.

The southern region is equally well-catered for, with Zinon Andreas's pharmacy at Franklin Roosevelt 258B in Zakaki, Limassol, located opposite a Petrolina fuel station. Tsogarakis Alexios’s pharmacy at Nafpliou 20 in Limassol, on the road leading to "Ygeia" Polyclinic, offers further assistance. Finally, Zaimi Marianna’s pharmacy at Petros Tsirou 35, apartment 2, in the "Naafi" area of Limassol, situated 140 meters north of the "ERA Apollon" department store, completes the roster. Each of these pharmacies provides contact telephone numbers, enabling individuals to confirm operating hours or make specific inquiries.

The implementation of this overnight pharmacy service is a proactive measure designed to address the fluctuating demands for pharmaceutical care, particularly outside standard working hours. By making this information readily available, authorities empower the public to plan accordingly and ensure timely access to medication, thereby contributing to the overall well-being and health security of the island's population. The consistent availability of such services is paramount in a modern healthcare system, offering reassurance and practical support to citizens whenever the need arises.
