"The goal is to finally make the first umbrella law in Cyprus that concerns the everyday life of the public, with an emphasis on traffic," MP Tsiridou emphasised, highlighting the bill's broad societal implications.

Intense rainfall led to significantly reduced visibility on the highway connecting Limassol and Nicosia, tragically culminating in a collision involving two vehicles near Mosfiloti. The Cyprus Police issued advisories urging drivers to exercise extreme caution, reduce their speed, and maintain safe following distances. This incident served as a stark reminder of the critical importance of robust traffic management and safety protocols, especially in the face of unpredictable environmental conditions.
