Car Crashes into Café, Injuring Three

A quiet Thursday morning in a Latsia neighbourhood was violently disrupted when a car drove off the road and crashed into a local café. The accident left three people with minor injuries. According to police, the vehicle "impaled" itself into the front of the building, causing major damage to the outdoor seating area just before midday. The force of the crash uprooted a tree and sent tables and chairs flying.

The sudden impact completely changed the peaceful scene into one of chaos. Witnesses described hearing a "sudden, loud crash" which made everyone inside scramble for safety. The aftermath was a scene of destruction, with twisted metal, broken furniture, and debris covering the pavement. The uprooted tree was left lying across the walkway. This event showed how fragile such a community space can be when it is invaded by sudden danger.

Emergency services, including police and paramedics, arrived quickly. All three injured people were treated at the scene for wounds from flying debris; fortunately, no one needed to go to the hospital. While the driver is the person who lost control, the exact reason the car left the road is still unknown. Authorities have confirmed that a formal investigation is now underway to find the cause.

The incident raises important public safety concerns, as a simple traffic accident became a direct threat to people in a social space. The different perspectives of those involved give a full picture of the event. Officially, the police are focused on the facts and their investigation. In contrast, witnesses share the shocking human experience of the danger. Meanwhile, shop owners had to deal with the immediate consequences, sweeping up glass and focusing on the physical damage to their business.

As the community recovers from the shock, the main unanswered question is what caused the driver to lose control. The police investigation is the next critical step, while the café owners face the difficult task of cleaning up and repairing their business after this entirely unexpected event.
