In a separate yet interconnected development, the fathers of the two involved students engaged in a heated verbal exchange on the school grounds. This unfortunate confrontation reportedly included a threat made by the 44-year-old father of the 15-year-old girl directed at the injured boy’s family. This incident further complicated an already precarious situation, broadening the scope of the police investigation.

Providing crucial context, the Ministry of Education disclosed that the 13-year-old victim had previously been involved in similar disruptive incidents. The most recent of these prior occurrences had taken place approximately six weeks earlier, highlighting persistent behavioral challenges within the school environment. Giorgos Koutsidis, the Acting Director of Secondary Education, acknowledged the significant strain that such recurrent episodes place upon dedicated teaching staff.
