The attempt to grant permanent status to the seventeen workers was consequently revoked. In a subsequent development, the seventeen positions have been re-advertised, indicating a renewed commitment to a more transparent and regulated recruitment process. Furthermore, the municipality has announced the creation of an additional nine temporary seasonal posts, suggesting a continuing requirement for seasonal labour under revised and presumably more scrutinised conditions.
