During the ensuing chaos, a 46-year-old female resident, who was also present in the apartment, was allegedly subjected to threats by the attacker. The critical nature of the victim's injuries necessitated his transfer from Larnaca General Hospital to the specialised facilities of Nicosia General Hospital.
