The Larnaca district office has become much better at handling building and city plans. This is good news for development. The office is now one of the best in Cyprus for giving permission for new buildings.
The office processed many more applications in November. It finished 525 building plans. This is 148 percent of what they aimed to do. The office is working harder because more people are asking for building permits.
More building plans were sent to the office this year. From January to July 2025, 1,295 plans arrived. This is 53 percent more than last year. This shows there is more building happening in Larnaca.
The office also processed city planning applications well. They finished 325 city plans. This was 105 percent of their goal. The office is now faster with both types of plans.
Larnaca's office said this shows good progress. They said they worked hard and carefully. This helped them manage the large number of applications. This better service could attract more businesses to Larnaca.
