Road Improvement Project Starts in Paphos

A big road project has started. It will make traffic better and roads safer. The project costs €1.47 million. It is on Archbishop Makarios III Avenue. The towns of Paphos and Yeroskipou are working together. This will help people who live there and tourists.

The contract was signed at Paphos Municipal Hall. The work will take ten months. Panath Construction Ltd will do the building. The two towns want to improve important roads. This helps people every day. It also makes the area nicer for visitors.

The mayors of Paphos and Yeroskipou said this project is important. They are working together. The upgrade will make public services better. It will make travel safer and easier for everyone. The road has a lot of traffic. So, it needs to be updated.

The project includes many things. The road will be resurfaced. Some parts might get wider. The sidewalks will be improved. New street lights will be added. There might be better traffic lights too.
