Cyprus's economy in November 2025 shows hope. Analyses suggest positive future activity. However, some areas show less confidence. The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) made good profits. This money will help upgrade infrastructure. But, many people worry about high energy costs.

The main economic index grew by 1.8%. This growth happened because people felt more confident. More tourists came to Cyprus. The shops and property markets were busy. However, less electricity was produced. This slowed down the good news a little.

Confidence levels changed in different sectors. Retail, building, and factories felt better. Consumers were also happier. But, the important services sector felt weaker. Good news is that worries about the economy are decreasing. This is because people are less anxious.

The EAC announced profits of €37.3 million. This is more than last year. They spent less money on pollution costs. So, they have more money to invest. The EAC will spend €45 million on improving the electricity network. They also bought a new smart meter system for €50 million.

However, energy poverty is still a problem. In 2023, 17.5% of homes struggled to pay electricity bills. This is more than the year before. The EAC chairman said electricity prices will not rise a lot.

Cyprus plans to build more energy storage. This will make the electricity grid more stable. It will also help use more renewable energy. A new storage system will be ready by mid-2026. Cyprus will need much more storage by 2030.

The economy is changing in many ways. Good economic signs and less worry are positive. But, different sector confidence and energy costs are challenges. The EAC's profits will help invest in technology. This is important for future energy needs.
