BTS Returns with New Album and World Tour

The famous music group BTS is back. They have released their tenth album, called "Arirang." This is a big comeback for the group. They are also starting a large world tour with 82 shows. The members have finished their military service. Their return is important for K-Pop music. Many people are watching to see if K-Pop will stay popular worldwide.

For about four years, the seven members of BTS were in the military. South Korea requires men to serve in the army. This meant BTS had to stop making music and touring. The break was hard for the group. It was also difficult for their company, HYBE. The company made less money during this time. However, fans were very excited for their return. The album "Arirang" had five million pre-saves on Spotify. This is a new record for K-Pop. It shows how much their fans, called ARMY, love them.

The album "Arirang" has a special meaning. "Arirang" is a traditional Korean song. It is like an unofficial national song for South Korea. It talks about missing someone or a place. BTS member Jimin said the name shows they thought about who they are. He said they looked at their Korean background. The album has 14 songs. The music video shows the group at Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul.

BTS started their return with a free concert in Seoul. Many people watched in person. Millions more watched online through Netflix. Hotels in Seoul were full. Fans came from other countries to see the concert. The president of Mexico even asked South Korea for more BTS shows.

The new tour will make a lot of money. Experts think it will earn over $1 billion. This tour is more than just concerts. It shows that K-Pop is still very popular. It also shows how K-Pop can do well in the global music market. BTS is starting a new part of their career. Their return is expected to set new standards in entertainment.
