Major airports have felt these changes. Some airlines stopped flying to Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Amman for a while. They later extended these stops for some places. Flights to Erbil and Baghdad are stopped until late May. Flights to Dubai and Riyadh were also stopped for short times.
A Latvian airline, airBaltic, cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until the end of April. They also stopped flights to Dubai until late October. This shows the problems will last a long time. Canadian and Spanish airlines, and Air France, also cancelled many flights to the Middle East. Some flights will not fly until late March. KLM also stopped flights to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Tel Aviv. A company from Hong Kong also cancelled flights to Dubai and Riyadh.
Some flights are starting again. Flights to Cyprus from Europe are returning. Emirates airline started flying again from Larnaca to Dubai. This is good news for travel. Larnaca airport had over 100 flights on Monday. Paphos airport also had many flights. However, other airlines like Gulf Air and Qatar Airways are not sure when they will fly again.
