Two Men Hurt in Paphos Stabbing

A night out in Paphos turned violent early Sunday. Two men were injured in a stabbing. Police quickly arrived at the scene. They arrested a 42-year-old man. The fight started with angry words. Then, a knife was allegedly used.

The incident happened around 3 am. It was in a place near Polis Chrysochous. Reports say the argument between the two men became very serious. The older man is accused of using a knife. After treatment, the 25-year-old victim left Paphos General Hospital. He was well enough to go home. The 42-year-old suspect also left the hospital. His injuries were treated. However, police were waiting for him. They had already started the process to arrest him. A court order was given. He was then taken to the police station.

Police are now investigating why the fight happened. They are trying to understand what led to the stabbing. They want to know more about the argument. They also want to know how it became a violent fight. Officers will talk to both men. They will also speak to any witnesses. The arrest is an important part of the investigation.
