UK Police Look into Epstein's Airport Use

British police are checking information about Jeffrey Epstein. They think he may have used airports in London and central England for bad activities. This is happening because many U.S. government papers were recently made public. These papers show more about Epstein's large network. Also, American businessman Les Wexner spoke to a U.S. committee about his long connection to Epstein.

New information from the Epstein papers is why the British police are looking into this. Three police forces are studying data about private planes used by Epstein. They want to see if the new papers show any problems for Britain or its people. Early reports say that flight records show many trips by Epstein's planes to British airports. Some records might show "females" as passengers. Papers also mention Stansted Airport and UK visas. This suggests possible trafficking across borders.

At the same time, Les Wexner gave sworn testimony to a U.S. committee. This committee is studying Epstein's actions and money. Wexner used to say Epstein was his financial advisor. An FBI paper from 2019 called him a possible partner in crime. Wexner said he answered all questions honestly. He also said he did not know about or take part in Epstein's crimes. Wexner has said he was "naive" and "foolish" when dealing with Epstein. He also said Epstein tricked him.

Right now, British police are just looking at information. They have not started criminal cases. However, they might find proof of trafficking at airports like Stansted and Luton. These airports say that Border Force manages private flights and checks. The U.S. government's release of Epstein's papers has started a wider look into his influence. The results of these investigations will likely be felt for a long time.
