US Allows Chip Exports to China, Affecting AI Race

The United States has made a new decision about artificial intelligence (AI) chips. The Trump administration will now allow Nvidia to sell its advanced H200 AI chips to some customers in China. This is a big change for global AI technology. It could also make AI technology spread faster around the world.

For more than a year, Chinese companies have found smart ways to build AI services. They used good software and lots of data. This helped them get good results even with older chips. The new H200 chips are very powerful. They can help speed up AI development. This might allow Chinese companies to compete with big AI leaders.

Nigel Green, CEO of deVere Group, said this decision changes how fast AI can spread. He also said it is important for investors. The change will affect how companies invest money. It will also change how companies compete in areas that use AI.

In Europe, many businesses are using more robots. Last year, many large companies started using robots in their factories or services. About 25% of big companies and 12% of medium companies now use robots. Spain, Denmark, and Finland are using robots the most.

However, regulators are watching big companies closely. Germany fined Amazon €59 million. The company's prices hurt smaller sellers on its website. This shows that governments are paying attention to the power of large online companies.
