Ukraine Attacks Russian Oil Ships During Peace Talks

Ukraine is fighting Russia on two fronts at the same time. While diplomats are having serious talks about peace, Ukraine has attacked Russian oil ships in the Black Sea. This shows the war is now in a very important and complicated stage.

On the diplomatic front, a top US official met with a Ukrainian team in Florida this Sunday. They discussed a detailed American plan to end the war. The Ukrainian side said the talks were about "the future of Ukraine" and making sure the war does not happen again. This meeting happened after secret US peace documents were recently shared publicly.

At the same time, Ukraine has used sea drones to hit two Russian oil tankers near Turkey. These ships were part of a group that helps Russia sell oil despite international bans. Video shows the drones exploding when they hit the ships. By attacking these ships, Ukraine is trying to hurt the money Russia uses for its army.

This two-part strategy shows Ukraine wants to pressure Russia in different ways. The attacks threaten Russia's important oil income. The talks, which will continue with a US representative going to Moscow, show that people are still looking for a political answer.

The next phase could be more fighting or more talking. The drone attacks prove Ukraine can hit Russian economic targets far away. The continued diplomacy shows a search for a deal. The coming weeks will show if the fighting and the talking will come together or stay on separate paths.
