Six Arrested in Major Crime Investigation

Police have arrested six people in a large investigation into organised crime. A 48-year-old man is believed to be the leader. He will stay in jail for more questions. The other five people were also arrested. They are between 22 and 42 years old.

The group allegedly forced their own security staff on nightclubs. Then, they asked for money for protection. Police are questioning over 32 people. This includes friends, family, and club owners. They are looking at CCTV footage and electronic devices.

The alleged leader was injured before court. He needed surgery. His jail time was extended because of the serious charges. The other five suspects will stay in jail for eight more days.
