Kyiv, Ukraine – A big problem is happening in Ukraine's capital city. Russian forces attacked overnight. Many people have no electricity or heat. Essential services are not working well. The country's parliament building was also damaged. The attacks used drones and missiles. They hit many places, but Kyiv was hurt the most.

The Ukrainian Parliament building was also affected. Power, water, and heating stopped working. This is very bad for the capital. Many homes had just got their heating back after an earlier attack. Now, they have lost it again. This shows Russia's plan to cause problems.

Ukraine's air defence stopped many missiles. However, Russia used many different weapons. This shows Russia wants to stop Ukraine's services. It also wants to make people sad. Stopping this kind of attack costs a lot of money. It cost about €80 million for air defence missiles.

The attacks also happened in other cities. Four people died between Monday and Tuesday. Thirty-three people were hurt. Cities like Dnipro and Odesa also had damage. Kyiv residents heard loud explosions all night.
