Ankara Event Honours Turkic Massacre Victims

An event was held in Ankara, Turkey, by TADİV. This organisation works for friendship and cooperation. The meeting remembered people who died in massacres in Turkic regions. Many important people came. They included diplomats and politicians. They all wanted to remember these sad events.

The event started with a moment of silence. People thought about the lives lost. Then, they read from the Quran. This was a spiritual part of the day. Ambassadors from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Northern Cyprus were there. Leaders from Iraq and a Turkish MP also attended. This showed the strong links between Turkic countries.

The main reason for the event was to face difficult history. Şamil Ayrım, a Turkish MP, spoke. He said that these historical events try to control the Turkic spirit. However, these attempts always fail. He said Turkic people are strong. This message was important for everyone.

The event mentioned the "Bloody January" event. This was a sad day in Azerbaijan's fight for freedom. Ayrım said this event is a shared pain for all Turkic people. It showed the goal of the commemoration. This goal was to mourn together and remember sacrifices. People from Kirkuk and Ukraine also came. This showed how many Turkic communities were affected.

TADİV worked with other groups for this event. They created a place for talking and thinking. Speakers talked about the history of these massacres. They spoke about the bad treatment and the strong spirit of Turkic people. Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also came. This showed that the government sees this history as important.

This event is more than just remembering. It helps build stronger friendships in the Turkic world. By talking about shared sad times, people can understand each other better. The discussions in Ankara showed a wish to learn from the past. They want to honour those who died. They also want to make sure such bad events do not happen again. This helps unite the Turkic world.
