A big search is happening in Cyprus. Police and helpers look for Vladislav Baumgertner. He is a 56-year-old man from Russia. He left his home in Limassol on January 7th. People could not call him. So, a search started.
The search is in the Pissouri area. This coast is very steep. Baumgertner’s phone last sent a signal here. This helps the search teams. Teams started looking on Saturday. A helicopter and drones helped on Sunday.
But a big storm stopped the search. The bad weather was not safe. The search will start again on Monday. This break may help them search well.
Baumgertner is tall. He has grey hair. He was wearing a black shirt and shorts. Police want to know why he is gone. A worker could not reach him. So, they said he was missing.
Police are looking at his past. He was arrested in Belarus before. Many people are helping the search. They want to find him. The storm made them worry. But they keep trying.
