The European Union has a new trade deal. It is with four countries. These are Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Many EU countries voted for the deal.
This deal will make it easier to trade. Taxes will go down on many things. Mercosur countries will pay less tax on food. The EU will sell more machines and medicines.
But, many farmers in Europe are sad. They are protesting. They think it is not fair. They worry about their jobs. They also worry about food rules.
Farmers in Ireland and Cyprus are worried. They think food from Mercosur may not be as safe. It might use more chemicals. This could be bad for health.
Some countries like Ireland voted no. But the deal was approved. It is hard to make everyone happy. Farmers will talk more about this.
