Cyprus Group Not Happy With President

A group in Cyprus is unhappy. It is called Álma. They say President Nikos Christodoulides does not answer questions. Álma also thinks he makes bad things look good. These things might be against the law.

The President talked about money for politics. This is a scandal. People worry about money from other countries. Álma said yesterday they are sad.

Álma thinks the President makes illegal things look legal. The President's brother-in-law works for him. His name is Charalambos Charalambous. He helps get money from other countries. Another person, Giorgos Lakkotrypis, is also there. Álma is worried.

Álma says the President mixes bad actions. He talked about "golden passports" and "black donations." Álma says this makes bad things look okay. This hides things that need to be checked by law.

Álma showed a video. A relative of the President talked to an investor. He seemed to offer money for help. Álma says this is a bad deal. The President seems to ignore this.

Álma says the President acts like the last president. Bad things might stay in the government. Álma wants more honesty. This is good for money and jobs.
