Iran Leader Speaks About Protests

Ayatollah Khamenei is Iran's leader. He does not like the protests. He called the protesters "vandals." He thinks other countries help them.

The protests began because gas prices went up. They have lasted more than a week. This is a big problem for the government. They are trying to stop the protests. They also stopped the internet.

Protests are in many cities. This is a big disagreement. People are angry about prices. Now, they want changes. Some want the government to go away.

Ayatollah Khamenei spoke on TV. He said the U.S. started the protests. He thinks protesters want to help the U.S. Iran told the United Nations the U.S. caused problems.
