Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, had a very bad night. Russian forces attacked the city with many drones and missiles. They aimed at important energy buildings that give people power.
The attack killed at least three people. Twenty-nine more people went to the hospital because they were hurt. Some of them are very sick. Because of the attack, large parts of the city lost electricity. Repair teams are working to fix the power, but it may take many days.
At the same time, an important government leader, Andriy Yermak, left his job. He left because the government is checking for corruption, which is when leaders do bad things for money. The government says this shows they want to be honest, even during the war.
This attack is part of Russia's plan to target Ukraine's power system as winter comes. This makes life very hard for people. Western countries are being asked to send more weapons to help stop these attacks.
