Ukraine's air defence was good. They stopped a big attack from Russia. The attack used missiles and drones. Ukraine said they destroyed many of them. Russia said their strikes hit military places.
Talks about help from the United States were happening. The head of NATO also spoke. He said NATO is ready for more fighting with Russia.
The fighting was in many parts of Ukraine. Russia used many flying weapons. Ukraine's Air Force stopped 32 out of 36. This shows they were very strong. Russia said they hit important places. These were command posts and airfields.
Fighting also happened on the ground. The Donetsk area is a big fight zone. Russia wants to take land there.
The United States will give more help. It is $275 million. This will give Ukraine weapons. Other countries are helping too.
