Oil Prices Go Up Today

Oil prices are higher now. West Texas Intermediate oil costs about $57.65. This is because people worry about oil. The US government is making new rules for Venezuela. This means less oil from Venezuela.

US officials stopped some oil ships. People are not sure about future oil. An expert said the US is serious.

These actions and a report make the market busy. The US dollar is weaker. This can make oil cost more.

Many people like clean energy. But the world still uses much oil. Some people call this "energy addition." The United Nations is worried. Climate plans are not enough.

It is hard to use less oil. This is true in Europe. Europe wants less gas from Russia. But new gas projects are starting. Cheaper gas might mean less US gas.

Canada made rules easier for energy. OPEC+ will not change oil making. They want to control oil.

US oil companies make oil well. They use new ways. Saudi Arabia is making more gas.

It is hard to meet climate goals. We still need oil. Oil prices might go up more. The world still needs oil makers.
