Cyprus Makes Legal System Better

Cyprus is changing its laws. This will help people trust the courts more. It will also make cases finish faster. New leaders are in charge now. A new Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General will help. The Minister of Justice will also talk to police. This shows a plan for a better legal system.

George Savvides is the new Attorney General. Savvas Angelides is his deputy. They started work on Monday. They are expected to be honest and skilled. This change is important. It shows the government wants a strong justice system. The old leaders gave their work to the new team. They must make the system work better.

The Ministry of Justice is also working with the police. Minister Costas Fitiris will meet police leaders on Friday. They will talk about new plans for the police. This includes working hours.
