But, the problem with Turkey is hard. Turkey wants to join the EU. Cyprus and Greece stopped some talks with Turkey. This is a challenge for Cyprus. It could affect EU defence plans. It is hard for the EU and NATO to work together.
Cyprus wants to help Europe. President Christodoulides wants to talk with Turkey. He hopes this can make things better. But, all EU countries must agree. Greece and Cyprus will not change easily. Cyprus must handle hard problems. Its success will be judged by its work.
