New Walkway in Cyprus Is Almost Ready

A big project in Peyia, Cyprus is almost done. It will be the longest walking path in Cyprus. The Akamas Municipality is doing this work. It will help tourists visit the area. The path is already in European travel plans for 2025.

The project costs €2.5 million. The path will be 14 kilometres long. It will go from Potima Marina to Agios Georgios. The Mayor of Akamas is happy. He thinks it will make the area better.

Part of the path opened this year. It has a place for shows, a gym, and a play area. People like these new places. They enjoy nature and new spaces.

This project is good for nature tourism. The Akamas Municipality wants to be good for the environment. Many people want to see nature.

The whole path will be ready in 2026. It will open in about one year. It is already in travel plans for 2025. More visitors will come. This project is very important.
