Euro Price Drops on Friday

The euro price went down on Friday. It was the fourth day in a row. The price reached 1.1715. The European Central Bank did not change interest rates. Christine Lagarde, the head of the bank, did not promise future changes. The bank thinks the economy will grow more later. But people are still worried about the economy now.

In the United States, inflation slowed. This was good news. But some people were not sure. The jobs report was not as strong. Only 64,000 new jobs were made. The unemployment rate went up. This made the dollar weaker. The DXY Dollar Index fell.

The pound in the UK got stronger. But the UK unemployment rate went up. This is the highest since 2021. Jobs might be harder to find. Business is still good. The Bank of England may lower interest rates soon.

Germany had problems. Consumer feelings went down. Factory prices did not go up. France may have budget problems.

Cyprus is doing better. Its economy grew. Good feelings and sales helped. People are less worried.
