Rain Makes Life Harder in Gaza

Heavy rain is making life very hard in Gaza. Many people who lost their homes have worse living conditions now. Strong wind and rain broke tents. This caused floods and ruined important things. More people can get sick, especially children.

The bad weather made hard times worse. About one million people live in tents. These tents do not protect well from rain and wind. Some places had 15 centimetres of water. More than 40 homes were ruined. Families had bad experiences.

A Unicef worker saw much damage. People used buckets to take water from tents. He said there was much water and strong wind. Rain ruined their things. Sadly, some people died. A baby died from cold. Eleven people died when buildings fell.

Rain makes helping people harder. Unicef is trying to bring supplies. But people need much more help. It is hard to bring aid to Gaza. Not enough aid is coming. This is bad for families. They must move again because of floods.

The bad weather has bad results. Being wet and cold makes people sick. Young children are more vulnerable. Their tents and things were destroyed. This is another problem for families. They already lost their homes. Gaza needs more help.
