Ukrainians Want Land, Not Unsafe Peace

A new study shows most people in Ukraine do not want peace. They do not want to give up their land. The study asked 547 people. It was done by the Kyiv Institute.

People said no to peace if it hurts their country. This is true for the Donbas area. They also do not want small armies. They need good safety promises. Most people think a peace deal with Russia is bad. They need strong safety. They worry about more attacks later.

Many Ukrainians will keep fighting. But they are also smart. They would think about peace if fighting stopped. This needs both sides to change. They want to stop fighting. They want to keep their country safe. Few people think the war will end soon.

Other countries want the war to end. Some leaders want quick peace. The US asked Ukraine to talk. But Ukrainians trust Western friends less now. Trust in the US fell. Trust in NATO also dropped.

This is important for peace plans. People need clear promises. Ukraine may change its NATO plans. This is for safety help.

People in Ukraine will fight to keep their land. Less trust makes peace talks hard. Ukraine wants a strong safety plan. Most people will defend their country. This is better than giving up.
