Germany says Russia did a big cyber attack. It was on German air traffic control. The German government also says Russia tried to hurt its democracy. Germany called Russia's ambassador to the foreign ministry. Germany has strong proof. The proof shows Russian military intelligence did the attacks.
The accusations came out on Wednesday. They talk about two kinds of attacks. One was a cyber attack in August. German spies think a group called "Fancy Bear" did it. They think this group works for Russia's military. The second attack was about false information. It was called "Storm 1516." This tried to hurt Germany's election in 2025.
A spokesperson for Germany said, "We know the GRU did it." Calling the Russian ambassador is important. It means Germany is officially upset.
Russia says it did not do these things. Russia denies it was involved.
Germany will work with other countries. They want to stop these attacks. They want Russia to pay a price.
Cyber attacks are a new problem. Germany wants Europe to act together. This makes talking with Russia harder.
