The weather in Cyprus will change a lot this weekend. A weather system called "Adel" is coming. It will bring rain, storms, and cooler weather.
Now, the weather is warm and nice. Friday and Saturday will be partly cloudy and warm. Temperatures will be high for this time of year, around 25-26°C inland and on the coast. But this will not last.
From Saturday afternoon, the weather will get worse. There will be more clouds, and then rain and storms. This will start in the west and north and then move to other areas. There might even be hail.
Sunday will be much cooler. The rain and storms will continue, especially in the afternoons. This weather will feel more normal for the season. The change will continue on Monday.
The rain will clean the air and remove the dust. The wind will be light to moderate. The sea will be a little rough.
This change ends a long time of warm weather and brings normal spring weather back to the island.
