Someone set fire to many expensive cars in Limassol, Cyprus. The cars were in a private parking area. The fire happened late on Thursday night. Police say the cars are worth more than 1.5 million euros.
A police officer said the person wore black clothes and a hood. This person put a flammable liquid on the cars. A security guard saw the person, but the fire started and the person ran away. Four cars burned completely. They were a Lamborghini, a Mercedes, a Porsche, and a Tesla.
Police are investigating because two of the cars belong to a friend of a man who was recently killed. That man was a football agent. Police do not know the reason for the fire yet, but they are checking this connection.
Hours later, another car burned in a different part of the city. Police are looking to see if the two fires are connected. They are watching CCTV videos and checking evidence.
