This weekend, Cyprus will have three special Christmas events. They are all on Saturday and Sunday, the 13th and 14th of December.
In the mountain village of Vavla, there is a Christmas Bazaar. People can buy local food and handmade gifts. There will be Christmas music and warm wine. You can also join craft workshops, but you must book a place first.
In Nicosia, the Presidential Palace will open for a Christmas Village. Local artists and food producers will have stalls there. Some money from sales will go to the School for the Deaf. This is to help the students.
Also in Nicosia, at Eleftherias Square, there is an event for pets. It is called "Xmas Santa Paws". Families can take photos of their pets with Saint Nicholas. A charity will be there to talk about adopting animals.
These events are for fun, but they also help the community and good causes.
