Storm Byron brought lots of rain. It started on Sunday. This storm made big problems for Cyprus. Paphos had the worst of it. Many streets were full of water. Driving was very unsafe.

Help teams worked fast. They helped people in need. Some roads had to close. The rain was expected to continue. This storm was strong. It had already caused problems in Greece.

The storm moved slowly. This made the rain last a long time. A yellow warning was on. Rain and thunder were coming. Maybe Friday will be better.

Polis Chrysochous had the most water. Streets and houses were wet. Some roads to villages had mud. The mayor said it was strange. He told people to be careful. Don't travel if you don't have to.

Main roads were also wet. It was hard to see. The Fire Service got many calls. Cars and houses were flooded. Teams went to Paphos to help more. Drivers were told to use lights. Winds were strong by the sea. Help teams must stay ready. They are fixing problems.
