Bad Weather In Cyprus

Cyprus has had very bad weather. Emergency workers helped people. The Fire Service had many jobs. Heavy rain caused problems. Roads were dangerous. This was especially in the mountains. Snow, ice, and fog made it hard to drive.

The weather office told people about storms. This was for Saturday. The bad weather started March 21st. It will continue for some days. This caused many problems.

Many places had bad weather. Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos were wet. The Troodos mountains were hard to travel. Roads had snow and ice. Fog made it hard to see. Some roads needed special cars. A landslide blocked a road.

The Fire Service was ready. They got 25 calls. Ten calls were about the weather. Trees fell down. Water needed to be pumped. Heavy rain caused floods. Water was pumped from houses. Fallen trees were also a danger. People must be careful.
