In 2025, fewer people died from terrorism. This is good news for the world. But, two countries are sad exceptions. Nigeria and the DRC saw more violence. This is because of bad groups.
Nigeria had the most problems. Deaths from terrorism went up a lot. Many people died there. Nigeria is now a bad place for terrorism. Old fights with groups like Boko Haram continue. Criminals also cause trouble.
The DRC also has more danger. More people died there too. A group called the ADF is causing problems. These problems in Africa are different.
Globally, terrorism deaths fell. But, Steve Killelea is worried. He says it is harder to fight terrorism now. Some Western countries also saw more deaths. This is because some young people are radical.
