The Bank of Cyprus made €353 million in profit for the first nine months of 2025. This was 12% less than last year. But the bank is still confident about the future.
The bank is doing well in some important areas. It gave out €2.24 billion in new loans. That is 31% more than last year. The bank also has more customer deposits now. Another good point is that it has fewer bad loans. Because of this, the bank raised its profit goal for the full year.
The bank also gave more money to its shareholders. It paid a dividend of 20 cents per share in October. The bank’s share price has gone up a lot in the past year.
The CEO, Panicos Nicolaou, said the bank will share a new business plan in early 2026. The plan must help the bank make good profits, even when interest rates are low. The bank is in a strong position for the future.
