Ukraine War: Two Years Later

Ukraine's president, Zelenskiy, spoke about the war. It has been two years since Russia started attacking. Ukraine is still fighting for its freedom. Russia's soldiers attack Ukrainian cities. But Russia did not get what it wanted first. The war is very sad. Many people have died. The war will go on.

Leaders from Europe visited Ukraine. They met President Zelenskiy. They want to show they help Ukraine. Help from the US is less now. Some people want peace talks. But these talks have not worked. Ukraine will not give up its land. Russia wants Ukraine to not join NATO. Russia also wants fewer soldiers in Ukraine. Ukraine does not agree with this.

Some people from Africa are fighting. President Ramaphosa of South Africa met President Putin. Putin helped 17 South Africans come home. They were told they would be bodyguards. But they were sent to fight. South Africa is looking into this. They want to know how people were tricked.

Also, Kenya is worried. Many Kenyans may be fighting for Russia. They were promised good pay. Some Kenyan groups might work with Russia. Russia says this is not true. Kenya is checking these stories. They want to stop people from fighting.
