The Malaysian government has agreed to a new search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. The plane disappeared more than ten years ago with 239 people on board.
A company called Ocean Infinity will do the search. They will start at the end of 2025. They will look for 55 days in a big area of the southern Indian Ocean. The company will only get paid if they find the plane.
The flight went missing in March 2014. It was flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Many countries searched for a long time but did not find it. Ocean Infinity also searched in 2018 without success.
The new search will use modern robots. They will look at a part of the ocean floor that experts think is important. The weather in that area is very bad, so it is difficult to search.
Family members of the people on the plane still want answers. One woman said the new search gives her comfort and hope. Everyone hopes this search can finally solve the mystery.
