CyBC is planning for Eurovision 2026. The chosen artist is Antigoni. She will sing the song "Jalla." CyBC will spend about €170,000. A record label will give €100,000 for the song.
Pafos started its Carnival on Smoky Thursday. The town centre had grilled food smells. People got free food. DJ Claudio and Time Surfers played music. People wore colourful costumes.
Limassol also started its 11-day carnival. This is a big city tradition. The city centre has music and parties. Famous music groups are performing. The main parade is on Sunday, February 22nd. The Carnival Queen is Amaryllis Kyriakou. These events show Cyprus's culture.
