Police stopped a man near a special area in Cyprus. They say he went into a place he should not go. He also had shotgun parts. He did not have a permit for them. This happened west of Nicosia. He will stay with the police for four days. They need to ask him more questions. The man said he was looking for wild asparagus. This shows the island still has problems.

Also, new laws were talked about in north Nicosia. Two new laws got support. One law is about how courts work. The other is about beauty products. These changes will make laws better. They seem different from the man's stop. Many things are happening on the island.

The man went to court. He is accused of going into a forbidden area. He is also accused of having illegal things. The court is looking at his case. He will stay longer with the police. This shows border problems are serious.
