This week, there were important events in Turkish Cypriot politics.
First, the opposition DP party had a meeting. They chose their leaders again. Serhat Akpınar will stay as the General Secretary. The party says this makes them stronger.
At the same time, the Prime Minister, Üstel, made a strong statement. He said that he and his family are victims of a bad campaign. He said people are trying to ruin his name, but he did not say who.
