US Policy Faces New Problem in Venezuela

The United States wants President Maduro to leave Venezuela. Now, families from Trinidad and Tobago are suing the US. They say their family members died by mistake. Many countries are watching this important lawsuit.

The US stopped oil from Venezuela. They also said they might use the army. The US Navy did many jobs in the Caribbean. These jobs were to stop drug sellers. But over 120 people have died.

Two men from Trinidad died. Their families think US actions caused their deaths. They have sued the US in court. Their lawyers say the killings were wrong. This case may let people from other countries sue the US.

Venezuela's leader is now Vice President Delcy Rodríguez. She wants to make changes. She said Venezuela wants good friends with many countries. This includes China, Russia, Cuba, Iran, and the US.
