Taekwondo Teacher Is Free

Khadija Ahmadzada is free now. She is 22 years old. She teaches taekwondo. She also has a gym. She was in prison for 13 days in Afghanistan.

She was punished for running a sports place for women. This is against the Taliban rules. Her situation is hard for Afghan women. The world is watching.

The Taliban said she was let go. Many people asked for her freedom. Human rights groups also helped. A UN expert worked for her release.

Her problems started because of strict rules. These rules limit women's activities. Inspectors took Ahmadzada. They said her gym broke rules. Women did not wear a proper hijab. Music was played. Men and women were mixed.

The Taliban closed all sports clubs for women. This stopped many women from exercising.

The Supreme Court looked at her case. She had a short time in prison. Her case shows how the Taliban watch women. They enforce strict rules. This has taken away freedoms.

The world spoke out. Ahmadzada was released. This is good news. But women's rights are still a problem. Clubs are still closed. This stops women from playing sports. It hurts their health. Ahmadzada is fighting for freedom. The world hopes for change.
