For the second year, the city of Paphos was the most popular place in Cyprus for visitors from Poland. The numbers from last summer show this clearly. Almost half of all Polish tourists in Cyprus went to Paphos.
This happened because there are now many more flights. A budget airline, Ryanair, started many new routes. Now, there are up to twenty flights every week from Poland to Paphos. They fly from six big Polish cities. This makes travel easier and cheaper.
Because of this, tourism leaders want more Polish people to visit all year. They are telling travel agents in Poland about Paphos. They talk about the nice winter weather and the old history there. They want tourists in winter and summer.
This is very good for Paphos. It helps hotels and restaurants earn money. It also makes a stronger connection between Cyprus and Poland. Other places might try to copy this idea. Good flight connections can change a city.
