Museveni Wins Uganda Election

President Yoweri Museveni won the election in Uganda. He will be president for five more years. He has been president for 40 years. He is 81 years old. Bobi Wine was his main opponent. Bobi Wine is a pop star. He is 43 years old. Museveni got many votes. But Bobi Wine does not agree with the results. This makes people worry about freedom in Uganda.

The election was difficult. The internet was turned off. This made it hard to see what was happening. It also stopped people from talking freely. The government said this was for safety. But it made people feel alone. Internet came back on Saturday. But the problems were already there.

Bobi Wine said the election was not fair. He said there were fake results. He also said votes were added wrongly. He thinks this happened on election day. The system for voters did not work well. Bobi Wine said this helped Museveni win.

The election campaign was not peaceful. Police and soldiers were there. Some people protested. There was fighting. Officials said seven people died. But others think more people died. President Museveni called some people "terrorists."

Museveni is one of Africa's longest leaders. He started in 1986. Some groups say Uganda is "not free." The world is watching Uganda.
