Nicosia has big running races soon. They are on Sunday, January 18, 2026. The races will help raise money. This money is for a good cause. Some city center roads will be closed. Many people will run in the old city. Roads will be closed to cars for safety. This is from 5:45 AM to 1:00 PM. About twenty streets will be closed.
Rigenis Street and Pafos Street will close. Markos Drakos Square will have fewer cars. Some parts of Georgiou Griva Dighenis Avenue will close. Homer Avenue and Stasinos Avenue will also have changes. These roads close for the runners.
